- Welcome to Polemics, Poems and Pictures, a mixture of political comment and a place for me to show off my poems and photographs. My blog name is Poleminous but I am not related to the Ancient Romans as far as I know. My home is in the South of France but I travel a great deal on business. I direct major infrastructure projects, but mostly I like to train to compete in Triathlons, indulge my love of all things photographic and keep abreast of the comings and goings in the markets and politics.
